wedding at asheville's masonic temple

Kelly and Lizz had their wedding on a cold and rainy day in January at the iconic Masonic Temple in downtown Asheville. I couldn’t imagine a better setting for these two. The temple was built in 1915 and is filled with high ceilings. It has so much natural light, antique furniture, and has an incredibly romantic ceremony setting. The fourstory building features a grand staircase, stained glass windows, and an impressive banquet hall for your ceremony and reception. Plus, the downtown location offers easy access for your guests, and the venue has plenty of parking. With its charming atmosphere and historic features, the Masonic Temple is the perfect place to create a memorable and unique wedding experience.

Kelly sells antique goods and home furnishings with her best friend so choosing the Masonic Temple was literally the most perfect wedding venue for her.

After prepping in the lovely light filled bridal suite, we started the day off with a first look on the balcony of the Masonic overlooking the city. It was an intimate and special moment shared by only Lizz and Kelly. Lizz’s reaction to seeing Kelly for the first time was truly so pure, and I’m so happy they chose to have that moment documented.

The rest of the evening was filled with love and celebration throughout the ceremony and reception.
