The rain came down in buckets on the day we documented the wedding of Caitlyn Hoofnagle and Jeff Jones at the Grand Bohemian Hotel located in the Biltmore Village in Asheville, North Carolina. Luckily the Tyrolean Terrace where the ceremony would be held was fully equipped for keeping guests dry in case of rain and the day went on as planned. The Grand Bohemian is a beautifully ornate hotel fashioned to resemble a huge 18th century hunting lodge as one would imagine existing somewhere in Bavaria. From the rustic great hall style bar and reception area to the stately and elegant Kessler Ballroom, the hotel is a stunning setting for any wedding.

Over a hundred and fifty of the couple’s close friends and family attended the ceremony that took place in the handsome Tyrolean Terrace on the fourth floor of the hotel. The decor exuded the elegance of the hotel coupled with beautiful southern charm. The soon-to-be betrothed exchanged loving vows followed by a faith inspired twine tying commemoration before sealing the deal with the kiss. It was an magically emotional experience for all involved.

After the ceremony, the clouds broke and the sun made an appearance, allowing for some light filled photos of the family and bridal party encapsulating the mood of all involved.

The reception was held in the exquisite Kessler Ballroom adorned with wonderfully arranged bouquets and decor. After a sumptuous meal followed by speeches and the cutting of the cake, the newlyweds and their attending guests danced the night away in celebration of the union. The entire day was a marvelous event to behold and we were extremely honored to be a part of the joining of these two lovely people.
