Downtown Bay City Wedding

Paige and Michael were married on a cloud day in September. We started the day off in a hotel suite were Paige and her bridesmaids were getting ready. When I walked into the room there was music playing, food, mimosas, everything needed to start off a really important day. Michael was getting ready with his groomsmen a few floors down in the same hotel. Their wedding was held at Paige’s childhood church which I thought was so special. It was a traditional catholic mass in a stunningly beautiful church. I really enjoyed going up to the church’s balcony during the ceremony to capture different angles.

After the ceremony we roamed around downtown Bay City for bridal party and bride and groom photos. We started off at City Hall, went to my favorite ivy wall next to the post office, and then finished up at a nearby abandoned building. Paige was sure to set aside plenty of time for photos so that we didn’t have to rush. I really appreciated this as having time for photos allows me to be creative while not having to rush to move people into poses. I think the whole bridal party enjoyed the journey that the photo experience took us on.

Their reception was held at The Double Tree in Bay City, Michigan. It was a perfect spot to host their large guest list. It was so fun to be surrounded by so many people that love Paige and Michael!
