Fall Wedding in North Carolina

I had the supreme privilege of documenting the wedding day of two charming and lovely people at The Arbors Events venue in Cleveland, North Carolina. The air was brisk and breezy yet bright and sun-drenched on the autumn afternoon that Mary Chorzempa and Michael Eades said their vows. The ceremony took place on the gorgeous grounds of The Arbors in front of a backdrop featuring the grand finale of fall color just as the sun was beginning to set.  The groom and groomsmen staged in a quaint little cabin in the middle of a placid little lake while the bridal party got ready off-site.

After the ceremony, the guests stayed warm around gas heaters during the cocktail hour as the bridal party and close relatives braved the chill of the fast approaching evening to take portraits during the golden hour. Mary and Michael stayed out the longest; well after everyone had gone inside to grab their drinks and their tables. We wandered out into a field to take some intimate photos in the fading light before heading back in to enjoy the festivities.

The magical evening lasted well into the night with a little help from great music, food, drinks, and dancing. I cannot express enough how sweet and compassionate these two were. They were a breeze to photograph and a joy to be around.
