places to get married in detroit

We joined our friends Talia and Zach near Traverse City, Michigan in late August for their reaffirmation of their vows that they committed to each other this same time last year. Due to the pandemic, last August the couple decided to hold an intimate outdoor wedding on the banks of Lake Michigan with only a handful of their closest family and friends in attendance. This year with signs of the pandemic beginning to subside, they renewed their vows in front of their most cherished loved ones.

The pair rented out a gorgeous farm homestead with a large restored farmhouse, barn tastefully done up for the reception, and sprawling open land accentuated by a vast abundance of blue summer sky. It was the perfect setting for the reaffirming of vows previously made. Intimate

With Talia in her stunning lace dress with winged sleeves and Zach in his dapper blue suit and amazing tie, the two stood in front of their loved ones and updated the same vows the two promised one another the year before. Afterwards Talia and her friends changed into disco garb and danced the night away with the rest of the happy guests. We love Talia and Zach so much and we were so happy to document their love not once, but twice!
