I will guide you with comfortable direction during our time together. I never want you to feel uncomfortable or stiff. I love to capture movement with families and have a few prompts I use to get everyone moving and having engaging with each other. I have designed my family sessions keeping in mind that photos can sometimes be awkward or uncomfortable. My goal is to get your focus off the camera and onto each other. I do this by asking questions- to bring up intimacy and laughter and make our time together carefree and laid back.

It is my goal to keep young kids happy and engaged. I want to try to get them to explore their surroundings and really just have a lot of fun. 

During your photoshoot with me, remember that you can’t do anything wrong. Even goofy moments can make beautiful photos. As long as your show love to each other in a way that feels good for you, we’ll be all set. I’ll take care of the rest. 

Do you travel for family photo sessions? 

Yes! Absolutely. I love to travel and have adventures with my clients. Travel fees do apply, but please inquire to see if I will be traveling near you to save on travel fees some. Don’t be afraid to get in touch and ask questions. 

What happens if it rains?

Bad weather occasionally happens. If it ends up raining we will reschedule. There is no fee to reschedule due to bad weather. I will give you or next available date, more times that not we can usually make a morning session happen the following day.

How do we book you?

If you decide you would like to book you family photoshoot with me, we will decide on a location and date. Then I will send you a contract and invoice to pay your deposit. Your deposit holds your photoshoot date in our books. 

How many images are included? 

It depends on how many hours of photography coverage you book with me. I don’t really have a specific number because each family is so different.  Image delivery starts out at 75+ images for 1 hour booked and goes up to 150+ images for 2 hours booked. 

When can we expect to see our photos? 

Full galleries are delivered 4-6 weeks after your family photoshoot date. Photos will be delivered via an online gallery with a downloadable link. You can share the link with family and friends so they can download or make prints as well. 

Can you help us with wardrobe?

Yes please! Styling and wardrobe is something I’m pretty passionate about. I believe wardrobe is a really important part of having beautiful images. If you wish to have some extra help with styling, just let me know at the time of booking and I can send you an inspiration board. You can also feel free to send me links or photos of wardrobe pieces you are thinking about using for your family photoshoot. I can help bounce ideas around if you would like.
