a summer wedding in downtown asheville

Michelle and Crosby held their intimate elopement in the Blue Ridge Mountains at one of my favorite waterfalls just outside of Asheville. From the moment I read Michelle’s initial email about her Asheville elopement I knew that she was going be a really special person to me.

In her email she told me the story of she and Crosby and how they met at a music event that a local art gallery was hosting. Crosby was giving her, “the eyes” and came up to her and literally danced circles around her. Michelle told me in her email that it was hilariously entertaining. The words she wrote to me about their love gave me chills.

Their elopement was held at a waterfall just outside of Asheville on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was just the two of them and two close friends. Every little detail of the wedding had so much intention behind it. Michelle made the vow books, her bouquet, and her hair piece, while Crosby made the altar. It was such a beautiful ceremony site that held a lot of meaning for the both of them. Crosby even sang to Michelle during his vows.

I left their elopement smiling from ear to ear. I feel very fortunate to have been invited to this event and to be the one to document it and be a part of their magical day!
