We visited the quaint little mountain town of Hendersonville situated in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina to document the wedding of Heath and Haley in the backyard of Haley’s childhood home. Backyard weddings are always some of our favorites as they are always so intimate and glowing and special.
Haley slipped on her lovingly beautiful wedding gown with the help of her mother with her sisters looking on. As soon as Haley, Heath, and their small and peaceful party were ready, the small, peaceful, intimate ceremony ensued. After the longtime sweethearts exchanged their heartfelt vows, we traversed the property carving out a few quiet places to document the soft and warm love the two had carefully crafted over the years.
A large amount of intention and love went into crafting a childhood home into a ceremony and reception site. Lanterns and lights were hung from branches of backyard trees. Tables adorned with vintage dining suites scattered throughout the yard were cast aglow by the intermittent lights and lovingly placed campfires as the newlyweds shared their first of many dances as husband and wife.
